    Drammatico romanzesco. Vittorini tra autore e personaggio

    This study focuses on Elio Vittorini’s work. It is based on a field of research defined as that of the relationship between theatre and novel. In order to explore this phenomenon in its complexity on the direction of the epicization of drama as much as the dramaturgisation of novel, we referred to the modal theory and to the oscillations between the two poles of writing labeled mimetic and diegetic by a long tradition which dates back to Plato. In this process of contamination of forms, a paradigmatic role has been noticed in the narrative work of Elio Vittorini, first of all in the predominant presence of the dialogical dimension and, secondly, in a exploration of form sensitive and attentive to the most innovative international models wich was conducted outside a rigid gender framework. In addition, the autograph documents testify to the existence of a dramatic production that, although ephemeral and inconsistent, feeds in the depth the novels’ mechanism of composition. In particular, we analyzed this approach in the composition of Men and not men, inspired by the unfinished drama Atto primo which, since it does not go beyond the draft stage, reveals the theatrical models of experimentation and helps in the interpretation of the novel.Finally, after assessing the mimetic dimension of the work, we determined its success on stage. The alleged theatricality of the novel has been identified above all in relation to contemporary theatrical experiences that are based precisely on the tension between mimetic and diegetic modes.

    Paolo Giovio epistolografo: edizione commentata della corrispondenza con Alessandro Farnese

    The study aims to reorganize the materials that constitute the corpus of Paolo Giovio's epistolary and to re-evaluate them critically as a whole, in order to update and integrate the results of the valuable, but dated, twentieth-century edition revised by Giuseppe Guido Ferrero. On one hand, the purpose is to provide an up-to-date overview of Giovio's epistolary experience, and on the other, to analyse the extremely dense network of relationships that Giovio established during the course of his career with personalities considered central in the 16th century, thus, making a contribution to studies on the Italian Renaissance. Given the obvious need for a new critical and annotated edition, which takes into account a renewed census of the documents, but also the amount of research carried out over more than fifty years, the present research is intended as a preparation for this impressive work. It attempts to bring order to the intricate mass of information that is essential for its preparation and to clarify the situation of the materials that will be involved. While remaining within this broader perspective, the research pays particular attention to the relations between Giovio and the Roman environment under the pontificate of Paolo III Farnese, with the aim of deepening the analysis of a period still rarely treated by Giovio's critics. In this context, the historians privileged the relationship with Alessandro Farnese: the first appendix of the study contains an annotated edition of the correspondence with the young cardinal, covering the period 1536-1552. The long-lasting sodality, testified only by the consistency of Giovio's correspondence in an almost total dispersion of Farnese's responses, counts a total of 64 letters, mostly preserved in the Archivio di Stato of Parma in their original form.

    Effect of monetary and non-monetary incentives in 3 different fields

    This thesis aims to investigate the effects of monetary and non-monetary incentives in 3 different fields. In the first chapter, we analyse whether the behavioural theory of Student Identity Priming has positive effects on student performance. By conducting an experiment on both students and former students - taken as a control trial - we observe that stimulating students' identity through motivational pictures and videos has positive effects on academic performance. The second chapter aims to analyse whether an increase in women's employment through government incentives has led to a reduction in gender-based violence. The results show that greater socio-economic independence leads to a reduction in gender-based violence. Finally, the third chapter examines the effect of regional incentives provided for cutting the waste tax on tax evasion. Analysing data from the municipal budgets of two Italian regions, we find that the tax cut, reduced by incentives, leads to a reduction in tax evasion. To support this, we analyse other taxes that are not cut in the same way.

    La gestione in rete dei musei per favorire dinamiche di turismo e di sviluppo sostenibile in Calabria

    Nel corso degli ultimi decenni il dibattito nazionale e internazionale si è concentrato sempre di più sulla necessità assicurare una crescita della società ispirata ai valori della sostenibilità. I modelli di sviluppo che hanno consacrato l'economia capitalistica assicurando a molti Paesi del mondo una crescita esponenziale almeno fino all'inizio di questo secolo, non sono stati in grado di governare in modo adeguato le dinamiche dei processi industriali, lo sfruttamento delle risorse, le emissioni di CO2 e i livelli di inquinamento. Anche l'emergenza sanitaria che ha coinvolto l'intera umanità a causa della diffusione a livello globale del Covid-19 ha evidenziato quanto il nostro pianeta sia fragile e quanto sia necessario intervenire con azioni decise al fine di evitare che fenomeni di questa portata possano ripetersi. L'Agenda 2030, rappresenta un importante programma di azione per i paesi che lo hanno siglato e ambisce ad assicurare la prosperità del pianeta e delle persone richiedendo un impegno collettivo ed il coinvolgimento di tutti i settori della società. Il turismo ad esempio è un fenomeno in grado di contribuire in modo incisivo sull'economia. Tuttavia, se da un lato si rivela essere un importante asset strategico per lo sviluppo economico dei Paesi, dall'altro rappresenta anche la causa di conseguenze negative per l'ambiente, per le risorse naturali e per le popolazioni delle destinazioni più frequentate dai viaggiatori. Data quindi l'importanza economica del settore, è necessario che anche il turismo acceleri il suo processo di trasformazione adeguandosi alle nuove sfide della sostenibilità. La produzione scientifica si è ampiamente occupata del tema e continua a farlo sottolineando il proficuo legame tra la valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale e lo sviluppo di un turismo più razionale. Significativi sono i contributi che evidenziano l'importanza strategica dei musei, meglio se aggregati in forme sistemiche, sia per la capacità di attrarre flussi turistici di migliore qualità sia per la naturale predisposizione a favorire dinamiche di crescita nei territori di riferimento. In Italia una forte spinta propulsiva verso la creazione di reti e sistemi museali e di un'offerta turistico-culturale integrata, è stata fornita sia dal processo di riorganizzazione che ha riguardato il settore dei beni culturali a partire dal 2014, con l'istituzione del Sistema Museale Nazionale, sia dal lavoro istituzionale svolto sul tema prima da un'apposita commissione ministeriale e poi proseguito da ICOM Italia con lo scopo di individuare strumenti di gestione integrata e adeguati modelli di governance.
